Avalanche Casinos
Avalanche, running since 2020, is less a single chain than a set of them, and its coin AVAX can sit on any of them. The one casinos use is the C-Chain, which runs Ethereum's software and therefore takes the familiar 0x address. Supply is capped at 720 million AVAX, and every fee paid on the network is burned.
Avalanche is a smaller presence in casino cashiers than the larger coins: 6 reviewed casinos list AVAX, 4 of them crypto-native. This page sets out which chain to use and which to leave alone, the few seconds a C-Chain transfer needs to become final, and the price record of AVAX itself.

Only the C-Chain Takes Deposits
Avalanche's primary network is made up of the C-Chain, the X-Chain and the P-Chain. The C-Chain runs smart contracts and is where casinos, stablecoins and most wallets operate. The X-Chain was built for creating and moving assets, and the P-Chain coordinates validators and staking; their addresses start X-avax1 and P-avax1, and neither is used for a casino deposit.
The slip usually happens on the way out. A wallet built for Avalanche can display all three addresses, and a payout form that does not check the format may accept the X-Chain or P-Chain one. The C-Chain address, starting 0x, is the only one to give a casino, and because every EVM network shares that shape, a payout can still go astray if the wallet and the cashier disagree about the network, a risk the guide to crypto networks covers for every 0x coin.
The Chains of Avalanche's Primary Network
Moving AVAX from one of these chains to another is an internal step inside the same wallet, not a deposit, and a casino sees only what arrives on the C-Chain.
Settlement and Fees on the C-Chain
A C-Chain block is final as soon as the network accepts it, about 2 seconds after the transfer is sent, because Avalanche's consensus does not wait for later blocks to bury earlier ones. A casino therefore has no technical reason to hold an AVAX deposit for long, and any wait beyond a few seconds is its own policy.
Gas on the C-Chain is paid in AVAX. Since a fee upgrade the minimum base fee has been close to zero, and validators can vote on how much traffic the chain aims to carry. The whole base fee is burned, so heavy use eats into the supply that the cap limits. USDT and USDC on the C-Chain pay their fees in AVAX as well.
What AVAX Did to a Balance
Over October 2025 to October 2026, AVAX was among the wilder coins on these pages, with an annualized volatility of 79% and a median daily move of 2.02%. Even over a single four-hour session, the price shifted by more than 2.42% one time in ten.
The key number: The worst thirty days of the year took 46.7% off the price of AVAX, so a balance left at the casino for a month could lose close to half its dollar value without a single bet.
How that risk compares with holding the same balance in a coin pegged to the dollar is the subject of the stablecoins guide.
Avalanche Casinos FAQ
With a cross-chain transfer inside an Avalanche wallet, which exports the coins from one chain and imports them on the other, each a small transaction. Once the AVAX shows in the C-Chain balance, it can be sent to a casino's 0x address like any other deposit.
No. Some exchanges offer a pegged AVAX token on BNB Smart Chain, which shares the 0x address format but is a separate asset on a separate network. A casino that lists AVAX expects the native coin on the C-Chain and will not see the pegged one.
Not for AVAX deposits. Avalanche lets projects run chains of their own, called Avalanche L1s, each with its own validators and often its own token. They are separate networks, and a casino that lists AVAX means the C-Chain, even when a wallet shows another chain under the Avalanche name.
Only if the cashier lists USDT on the Avalanche C-Chain as an option of its own. Accepting AVAX says nothing about which networks a casino uses for its stablecoins, and USDT sent to a C-Chain address that the casino watches only for AVAX may never be credited.
