Tether (USDT) Casinos
Tether, written USDT, is a token meant to be worth one US dollar, issued since 2014 by a company that holds reserves against it. It has no network of its own. The issuer puts the same token on TRON, Ethereum, Solana and a string of other chains, so USDT on one network and USDT on another are two balances that share a name and a price and nothing else. 59 casinos reviewed on this site take USDT, and 33 of those offer no card or bank route at all.
This page covers the networks USDT travels on and how to tell their addresses apart, why every USDT transfer needs a second coin to pay for it, and how far the token's price strayed from its dollar. Whether a balance belongs in a dollar token in the first place is weighed in the stablecoins guide.

One Name, Several Tokens
USDT on TRON is called TRC-20, after TRON's token standard, and its addresses start with T. USDT on Ethereum, called ERC-20, goes to a 0x address, and so does USDT on every other member of the EVM family a casino might list: BNB Smart Chain, Polygon, Arbitrum One and the Avalanche C-Chain. Solana carries its own USDT under the SPL standard, with an address of a different shape again.
The token labelled BEP-20 needs a note of its own. On BNB Smart Chain the USDT most wallets display is a pegged copy issued by the exchange behind that chain, not a token Tether issues itself, even though cashiers and wallets present it simply as USDT.
The rule: Never treat USDT as a single asset. The network label beside the address, TRC-20, ERC-20, BEP-20 or another, is part of where the token has to go, and an address shown without one is an incomplete instruction.
Sending between a T address and a 0x one usually fails safely, because the wallet refuses an address of the wrong shape. Sending between two networks that both use 0x is never caught: ERC-20 USDT paid to an address the casino watches only on BNB Smart Chain is a valid transaction the casino does not see. Some old routes have also closed. Tether ended support for USDT on Omni, Bitcoin Cash SLP, Kusama, EOS and Algorand on 1 September 2025, so a cashier that still names one of them is out of date.
USDT Networks Side by Side
Finality is the point after which the network will not reverse a transfer. A casino may credit a USDT deposit sooner or later than that, by a count of its own, and every network here except TRON and Solana uses the 0x address shape, so only the label tells those apart.
The Fee Comes in Another Coin
A USDT transfer is paid for in the host network's coin, never in USDT: TRX on TRON, ETH on Ethereum, SOL on Solana, BNB on BNB Smart Chain. A wallet that holds USDT and nothing else usually cannot move it, and the wallet will either refuse the transfer or report that the fee cannot be covered. A few wallets offer to settle the fee for the sender, but that is a feature of the wallet, not of USDT.
On TRON the cost also depends on who receives the token. A transfer to an address that has never held USDT uses noticeably more energy than one to an address that already does, so the first deposit to a newly issued casino address can cost more than the ones after it. Energy, gas and the other ways networks charge are compared in the guide to crypto networks.
How Close USDT Stayed to a Dollar
From October 2025 to October 2026, USDT's daily close strayed at most 0.17% from a dollar, and it ended no days of the year more than half a percent off the dollar. On a typical day it moved by 0.01%, and its largest fall across any thirty-day window was 0.2%.
Those are market prices, not a promise. Only the issuer's verified customers can hand USDT back to it for dollars, so a player turning USDT into dollars does it through an exchange, at that exchange's price on the day. The issuer behind the reserves is a risk of its own, which the stablecoins guide sets out alongside the price behavior of every coin on these pages.
USDT in the Casino Terms
Casino terms rarely say which network USDT is accepted on; the network shows up in the cashier, not in the rules. Among the 12 casinos that name a USDT deposit minimum of their own, the median is 5 USDT, and the 9 that name a USDT withdrawal minimum put it at a median of 20 USDT.
Because USDT tracks the dollar, a limit quoted in dollars and the same limit quoted in USDT come to practically the same amount, which holds only for dollar tokens. Deposit wagering, payout caps and identity checks still decide when a USDT balance can leave, and the withdrawals guide takes them in the order a casino applies them.
Tether (USDT) Casinos FAQ
Not Ethereum's main network, as a rule. There a token transfer pays for extra computation at a gas price that rises with demand, while TRON, Solana, Polygon and BNB Smart Chain usually cost far less. The cheapest network only helps if the casino lists it, and on TRON the first transfer to a fresh address costs more than later ones.
Often, yes. The casino keeps a single USDT balance per account and pays it out on whichever network its cashier offers for withdrawals, which need not match the deposit. The payout address must be valid on that network, and an exchange receiving it must support USDT there.
Because they are two tokens on two networks. A wallet that supports several networks lists USDT once for each, for example on TRON and on Ethereum, and each balance can only be sent on its own network. Moving value from one to the other takes a bridge or an exchange, not an ordinary transfer.
No. USAT is a separate dollar token launched in the United States under federal stablecoin law, with its own issuer, reserves and redemption. A casino that lists USDT credits USDT only, and USAT sent to a USDT deposit address would arrive as a token the cashier does not support.
