Polygon Casinos
Polygon is an EVM network, compatible with Ethereum's tools and addresses, that records checkpoints of its state on Ethereum. It has been live since 2019, when it was still called Matic Network. Its coin pays for every transaction on it, and that coin was MATIC until September 2024, when POL replaced it as Polygon's gas and staking token. Cashiers did not all change their labels at once, so the casinos on this page are gathered under both codes.
Under one name or the other, the coin is taken by 15 casinos with a review on this site, 11 crypto-native and 4 hybrid. What follows explains which label means which token, why a Polygon transfer settles in seconds, and how POL behaved on the market.

MATIC Became POL
The change was an upgrade, not a new network. On Polygon's own chain, POL took MATIC's place as the coin that pays gas, and balances carried over, so a wallet that held MATIC on Polygon now shows POL. A casino that still writes MATIC in its cashier is, in nearly every case, asking for the same coin under its former name.
Ethereum is where the two names still point to different things. MATIC and POL both exist there as separate ERC-20 tokens, and the old one becomes the new one only by passing through Polygon's official migration contract. MATIC held on Ethereum is therefore not POL, and sending it where POL is expected credits nothing until it has been migrated.
In short: On Polygon's network, MATIC and POL name the same coin. On Ethereum they are two separate tokens, and only the one the cashier names will be credited.
Reading a Polygon Cashier
Polygon PoS and Ethereum both use 0x addresses, so an address alone cannot show which row a deposit belongs to. The cashier's label can, and so can the network the wallet is set to.
Finality in Seconds
A Polygon block arrives about every 2 seconds, and since an upgrade to the network's validator layer a block is final within about 5 seconds, where it once took far longer. Some services still apply confirmation counts set in the days when the latest Polygon blocks could be replaced, so an exchange may hold a Polygon deposit much longer than the network now requires. A casino states its own count in the cashier, if it states one.
Gas is paid in POL and is small, with the base part burned, which is one reason stablecoins are common on Polygon. USDC there comes in two versions, the issuer's own and an older bridged copy called USDC.e, and the USDC casinos page explains how to tell them apart.
POL Prices Over the Year
POL swung harder than most coins on these pages. Across October 2025 to October 2026, 57 of its daily closes, 15.7% of the year, landed over 5% from the close before, and its annualized volatility came to 77%.
The swings ran in both directions. The best seven days lifted the price by 54.1%, far more than the 26.4% lost in the worst seven, yet the deepest fall over thirty days still reached 46.9%. A balance can land on either side of that, and the stablecoins guide covers the coins whose price is pinned to the dollar.
Polygon Casinos FAQ
No. Polygon PoS is a separate network with its own validators, which runs Ethereum's software and posts checkpoints of its state to Ethereum. It shares Ethereum's address format, which is why one 0x address works on both, but a balance on one network cannot be seen from the other.
No. POL started from a fixed supply at its launch and adds new coins each year at a rate set by Polygon's governance, paid to validators and to a community treasury, while the burned part of each fee removes some again.
Only if its cashier lists USDT on Polygon, which is a separate option from POL. The token travels to a 0x address like POL does, but a casino watching for it only on Ethereum or BNB Smart Chain will not credit it. The fee for the transfer is paid in POL, so the sending wallet needs some.
Not once it is final, which on Polygon now takes seconds. The network limits how many of its most recent blocks can ever be replaced to a very small number, and a casino that credits only after finality carries no such risk at all.
