Sweet Bonanza CandyLand is Pragmatic Play's live version of its Sweet Bonanza slot: a wheel with 6 betting positions, three Sugar Bomb segments that carry no bet of their own, and three bonus games that end, in the largest of them, inside a live round of the slot. The numbers pay their face, 1, 2 and 5, and the three bonus positions, Candy Drop, Bubble Surprise and Sweet Spins, pay a drawn multiplier.

How the Sugar Bomb Changes the Wheel
On most money wheels a bonus segment is a bet. The Sugar Bomb is not: it carries no betting position, so a stop on it pays nobody and instead draws a multiplier that applies to the next result. In effect the wheel is spun again with every win multiplied, the same device as Dream Catcher's 2x and 7x segments, with the multiplier drawn rather than printed. The Booster doubles whatever is drawn, for a surcharge on the stake, which is the studio's way of selling variance.
Because the multiplier is drawn, the re-spin cannot be priced the way the Dream Catcher chain is. What can be said is structural: a wheel that re-spins on three of its segments spends more of its time in multiplied rounds than one that re-spins on two, and that time is funded, as on every show, by number payouts set below their fair odds.
The Three Bonus Games
Candy Drop releases a ball down a board of multipliers and pays the ones it collects, with a stated ceiling of 1,000x. Bubble Surprise is a quick draw, 5x, 10x or 25x or a ticket into one of the other two rounds. Sweet Spins is the slot itself: 10 free spins of a live Sweet Bonanza board, with tumbling symbols and multiplier bombs that add up across the spins, and it is where the stated maximum of €500,000 lives.
A player who knows the slot knows the bonus; the mechanics are the same and the volatility is the slot's. A player who does not should treat the three bonus positions as three bets on three drawn multipliers, each worth whatever the studio's unpublished distribution makes it.
