Live Game Shows
A live game show is a money wheel with a presenter and a bonus round. The wheel is divided into equal segments, most marked with a number that is also the payout, a few marked with a bonus. A bet is a segment; the wheel stops; a number pays its face, a bonus opens a second stage whose prize is a multiplier the studio draws. Every show on this page is that shape, from Dream Catcher, which has no bonus at all, to Crazy Time with four of them.
That shape makes a game show unusually easy to read in one respect and unusually opaque in another. The wheel part is arithmetic: how often each segment lands follows from the count of segments, and what a number bet returns before any multiplier follows from that frequency and the payout. The bonus part is a disclosure: the multipliers are drawn from distributions the studio sets and does not publish, so the return of the whole game is a figure the studio states, and nobody outside the studio can check it from the rules. These pages keep the two apart and say which is which.
Seven Wheels at a Glance
A floor is the return of a number bet when it wins unmultiplied. The studio's disclosed return is always above the floor; the gap is the bonus rounds' share.
Reading a Wheel
Take any segment on any wheel and two numbers follow at once. Its frequency is its count over the total: a segment that appears 21 times on a 54-segment wheel lands 38.89% of the time, about once in 3.0 spins. Its fair payout is the odds against it: at that frequency a bet breaks even if it pays 1.57:1, and the segment pays 1:1. The difference between the fair payout and the printed one is what the wheel keeps before the bonus, and on that bet it is 22.22% of the stake.
A floor that low is not a flaw in the design; it is the design. A game show funds its bonus rounds and its Top Slot from that gap, and the studio's disclosed return says how much of it comes back. On Crazy Time the studio states 96.08%, so the bonus side of the game returns the difference between 77.78% and that figure on a bet on 1. The reader who wants to know whether a show is generous should look at that difference, not at the ceiling the marketing quotes.
Computed, Disclosed and Advertised
Three kinds of number appear on these pages and they are not interchangeable. A computed figure follows from the wheel face and the printed payouts, and anyone with the segment counts can reproduce it. A disclosed figure is the studio's own statement about the game's return, taken from the studio's page in its own words and marked as such. An advertised figure is a ceiling, the 20,000x or the half-million maximum win, which says nothing about the return at all; a ceiling appears here only to name the rule it belongs to.
Where a studio states nothing, these pages state nothing in its place. Funky Time's bonus rounds and Sweet Bonanza CandyLand's free spins have no public return, so their pages describe the mechanics and stop. Dream Catcher is the one show with no hidden draw, which is why it is the one show priced to the last decimal on its page.
Strategy on a Wheel
There is no play decision on a money wheel, so strategy reduces to the choice of segment and the size of the stake. The choice of segment is a choice of variance more than of price: on Dream Catcher, where the whole return is known, the edges run from 3.42% on the 10 to 9.19% on the 40, a spread of 5.77%, and the lower-paying segments sit in between. Covering several segments does not change any of those figures; it averages them and shortens the dry spells.
The bonus segments are where the ceilings live, and a bet on one is a bet on a drawn multiplier. Nothing in the rules lets a player improve that draw, and the pages here give the frequency of each bonus segment so that the length of a wait can be judged honestly: the single Crazy Time segment lands about once in 54 spins.

Game Shows FAQ
A sensor reads the physical wheel when it stops. The multipliers in the Top Slot, the bonus rounds and the lightning numbers are drawn by software before the spin, and the studios say so in their rules.
Each bet has its own hit frequency and its own exposure to the bonus rounds. Crazy Time's by-bet figures run from 94.41% to 96.08%, and the pages here show the wheel's part of each.
Among the shows with a known full return, Dream Catcher's 10 segment at about 3.42% house edge. For shows whose bonus rounds are disclosed rather than computed, the comparison can only use the studio's stated figures.
Every spin then pays one of the bets and loses the rest, so most spins end down. The combined bet earns the average of the segments' returns, weighted by what was staked on each.
